This is the new proBOSS range of whisper quiet mains powered motorised curtain systems. We currently supply them assembled - up to 6 Metres in length as a single piece and longer with a joint. All appropriate fixing brackets are included. The motor connects to the track with a quick release clip. A 3 metre captive mains cable needs to be connected to a 240V outlet or switched fused spur. The motor has a built in RF receiver and is supplied with a 6 channel remote control. This allows you to open, close or stop the curtains in any position. The 6 channels can be controlled together or independently. There are no limits to set as the motor will detect the open and closed positions when it is first operated. In the event of a power failure the curtains can still be pulled manually as the motor is fitted with a clutch mechanism. In addition to the RF remote control, there are control ports on the motor to enable full integration with home automation systems via either, a simple relay interface (common, open, stop and close) or, via RS485 serial control. Two control ports are provided on each motor so several motors can be wired together to provide a single point of control if required. The curtains will also operate if they are gently pulled (this feature can be disabled). Once the motor detects the movement it powers the curtains for the remainder of the travel.
Open, Stop and Close operation from the remote control. All important clutch mechanism built in, prevents motor or power supply burn out in the event of an obstruction. Curtains can still be pulled even if there is no power. Can be configured for centre drawn or to gather to one side only, and the motor can be fitted on either side (two motors can be fitted for particularly heavy and long curtain runs).
These systems can carry up to 60kg curtain load. You need to measure the width of the window, then add sufficient for the curtains to stack in the open position. This will depend upon the size and thickness of the curtain material, and the number of gliders you wish to use. Remember too that there are drive boxes at each end of the track which add around 100mm. So the stack width would be 100mm + (16mm x 12 Gliders) = 292mm approximately on each side of a centre opening track. The track length would therefore be "window width" + 292mm + 292mm
